Hi! I’m Derek Francois. I was born in Long Island, New York, but moved to Boca Raton at the age of three. My turbulent adolescent years were navigated with the help of some amazing public school teachers, leaving me with a strong desire to become an educator.

I began my real estate career in 2014 and my teaching career shortly afterward in 2017. Despite being immensely rewarding, after five years of educating teenagers at West Boca Raton High School, I decided to leave teaching and focus solely on real estate.

Being able to deal with a wide range of people and gently directing them toward the desired outcome, which is rewarding for everyone involved, has taught me skills that I believe are transferable to the real estate industry. As a lifelong resident of Palm Beach County, I have a unique knowledge of the area coupled with a passion for helping people.

Personally navigating the buying and selling of my own homes has given me a true appreciation for the process. Any real estate investment is a major undertaking, and I am personally and deeply devoted to providing my clients the best deal possible for their needs.
