Accessibility Statement

1. Our commitment

We want everyone who visits the Derek Sells Dirt website to feel welcome and to find the experience usable, regardless of ability or technology. We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, which are the recognized standard for making web content more accessible.

2. What we are doing

• Using semantic structure, headings, and landmarks so assistive technology can navigate the site
• Providing a skip-to-content link and visible keyboard focus
• Writing descriptive text for meaningful images
• Aiming for readable color contrast and text that resizes without breaking layout
• Reviewing new pages and features for accessibility as they are built

3. Current status

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We are in the process of testing the site against WCAG 2.2 AA using both automated tools and manual keyboard and screen-reader testing, and correcting issues we find. Because this work is in progress, we are not yet claiming full conformance.

4. Known limitations

Some content provided by third parties (for example, embedded maps or future MLS listing components) may not be fully accessible and is partly outside our control. Where that is the case, we will work to provide an accessible alternative or a direct way to get the same information from us.
