Lake Worth

Coastal city with a downtown strip and the Intracoastal at its eastern edge.

Lake Worth is really two markets that share a name. The coastal city, renamed Lake Worth Beach in 2019, has a walkable downtown on Lake and Lucerne Avenues and the Intracoastal at its eastern edge. West of I-95, the larger unincorporated Lake Worth corridor carries the gated communities most buyers are actually searching for, including Winston Trails, where Derek's record runs deepest.

The city beach with shops, dining, and Benny's on the pier.

Food and drink

  • The Pelican

The unassuming diner locals love for Indian-fusion breakfasts.

  • Rustico

Twenty years of Capri-born Italian on a downtown corner.

  • Mathews Brewing Company

The city's own craft brewery, with a beer garden and live music.

  • Antojitos Mexicanos La Placita

    No-frills, authentic Mexican street food.

Nature and the outdoors

  • Snook Islands Natural Area

Boardwalks and kayak launches on the Intracoastal.

  • Bryant Park

Waterfront green space with a boat ramp and playgrounds.

  • John Prince Park

726 county acres on Lake Osborne with trails and a campground.

Two markets, one name

  • East of I-95

The historic cottages of Lake Worth Beach proper, including the College Park and Parrot Cove districts.

  • West of I-95

The gated-community corridor, including Winston Trails, where Derek's record runs deepest.

  • Two price ladders

The same budget buys very different living on each side of the interstate; know which ladder you're climbing.
